​Joyspring Kennel began 14 years ago. It started not because we said, “Let’s start a Dog Boarding Business!” It started because of our love for dogs.
I had a small kennel at the time for our three dogs, and a friend asked if we could watch their dog for the weekend.
Our business was born with Pipers first weekend stay.
Piper boarded with us for her entire life!

In 2016 my husband Scott and I saw that the need for more space was needed, which prompted us to build a state of the art 10 run kennel. Our first weekend boarding in our large kennel was Thanksgiving weekend of 2017.
We still have the original kennel for boarding space as well which had just been updated the spring of 2020.

Dogs are walked 3 times a day, according to the dogs ability (depending on age, health and behavior).

We do require proof of vaccinations including the Bordatella Vaccine and they must be current on them at least 5 days prior to boarding.
